General plastic bag production process includes film blowing, cutting, color printing, bag making and other processes.

1、 Film blowing: film blowing is a plastic processing method, which refers to a plastic processing process of heating and melting plastic particles and then blowing them into film. The machine used is film blowing machine, which passes through casting roller, setting roller, corona roller and cooling roller. If the film is blown out with new particles, the color is bright, clean and sanitary, the finished product is stretched well, the bearing weight is large, and the quality of plastic bags is good, so it can be used for food packaging. If the plastic particles are made of recycled waste plastics, the color masterbatch is usually added to the raw material particles when blowing the film, the film is prone to uneven coloring, brittle and easy to break, and the quality and price of the plastic bags are poor. The plastic bag made of this film is not sanitary and cannot be directly contacted with food.

2、 Slitting: because the film produced by blowing is very wide, it needs to be cut into a certain width of film according to the standard of plastic bag. The machine used in this process is a slitter.

3、 Color printing: there are many ways of color printing, including roller printing, intaglio printing and screen printing. The pattern is set according to the requirements and printed on the plastic film by the color printing machine. Drum printing and intaglio printing are the whole roll printing of blown plastic film. They are mechanical printing with fast printing speed and suitable for mass production. If screen printing is adopted, the roll film must be cut into single pieces first and then printed manually. The printing speed is slow, but the text pattern of the plastic bag made in this way has thick ink and strong three-dimensional sense.

4、 Bag making: divide two layers of transparent plastic into two sides of one layer of non transparent plastic, and heat seal them into three sides of open inner bag by ultrasonic high frequency welding or heat sealing knife.
